about me.
hi, i'm perri, a science and tech journalist.
i've always been curious about how the world works (i blame my dad for making me watch How It's Made on repeat) and love to share what i learn with others.
i studied astronomy and economics at Cornell, then worked as a NASA contractor focused on technology policy. later, i did planetary science research at Harvard. after an early quarter-life crisis, i realized journalism is the path for me, so i got my master's in science journalism from NYU.
i have held reporting positions at Science, IEEE Spectrum, and Live Science, and am currently at Quanta.
